Rautner advises on the Expansion of the Scharndorf West Wind Farm

Rautner Rechtsanwälte advised WP Scharndorf West GmbH and Erste Bank on the expansion of the Scharndorf West wind farm. The operator has expanded the existing wind farm with an additional Vestas V126 turbine. Due to the lack of economies of scale, efficient and cost-optimized preparation of the contract documentation and handling of the financing was particularly important.

Unfortunately, suitable sites for wind turbines are rare. It is all the more important to make the best possible use of the existing space. Each additional wind turbine is a further step on the way to meeting the climate targets. That’s why we’re glad that we were able to support WP Scharndorf West GmbH in integrating an additional wind turbine into the existing wind farm.” explains Mag. René Semmelweis, Partner at Rautner Rechtsanwälte.

With projects like this we can show that it is possible for an experienced, well-established team to ensure the necessary efficiency to also place the financing documentation of smaller projects on a legally solid foundation while keeping the project costs within reasonable limits.” adds Dr. Uwe Rautner, Managing Partner at Rautner Rechtsanwälte.
